My journey, education, and what drives me as a developer
My Story
I'm a software engineer from Colombo, Sri Lanka, currently finishing my degree at SLIIT while working remotely with a US startup. What started as curiosity about how websites work has turned into a passion for building systems that solve real problems.
I believe in learning by doing. Rather than just following tutorials, I build things that matter to me—like setting up a complete Kubernetes platform on bare metal servers or creating a race database that helps athletes discover events. Each project teaches me something new about engineering, problem-solving, and what it takes to ship production software.
When I'm not coding, you'll find me reading about distributed systems, contributing to open source, or planning my next adventure. I'm always looking for opportunities to work on challenging problems with smart, passionate people.
